Account & Subscription

Your account manages orders; your subscription configuration connects your client. Make sure both belong to the same account before importing or updating your configuration.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Choose a username you can remember and a password you don't use on other sites. Keep your account details safe—you'll need the same account to view orders, access your subscription, and submit support tickets. Never share your password or subscription link. If you already have an account, sign in rather than creating another one; separate accounts can make orders and subscriptions harder to find and troubleshoot.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update it in my client?

Sign in to the user panel and check your subscription status in the account overview. Then use the subscription section in the panel to get your import details. In your client, open subscription or configuration management, select your existing VPNYD configuration, and update it. Wait for the confirmation before checking the route list. Updating a subscription syncs your configuration; it doesn't switch routes or enable the proxy. You still need to select a route and turn on the proxy. Menu names vary by client, so follow the relevant guide. Keep your subscription link private.

Do I need to choose a different plan when I switch computers or add a device?

There is no limit on simultaneous devices, so you don't need to change plans just because you switch or add a personal device. VPNYD supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Sign in to the same account on the new device, then get the client and import your subscription using the instructions for that platform. You must be signed in and have an active subscription to get the client. After connecting, check the selected route and proxy status. Keep the old device connected or disconnect it as needed, and don't mix configurations from different accounts.

The route list still looks outdated after a successful import. What should I check?

First, make sure the selected configuration belongs to the account you just signed in to. Then check the subscription update result rather than relying on the configuration name alone. If your client stores multiple configurations, updating one doesn't update the one currently in use. Stop the connection, select the correct configuration, update it, and then choose a route again. If nothing changes, check your subscription status in the panel and look for errors in the client. Avoid repeatedly creating configurations with the same name, and don't delete all configurations before saving any settings you need.

How should I store my subscription details, and what should I keep out of public groups?

Treat your username, password, subscription link, and import QR code as confidential account information. Before sharing a screenshot for help, hide identifying details in the link, the QR code, and your password. Leave the error message, platform name, and relevant settings visible. Sharing a route name can help explain the issue, but there's no need to send your full subscription to anyone. If you think someone else has accessed your subscription details, check the account or subscription management options in the panel, then contact support through a ticket for help with next steps.

Connection checks

Connections & Troubleshooting

Break the issue down into local network, configuration updates, proxy setup, and the target app. Change one thing at a time and keep the error message and comparison results.

Where should I start if I can't connect at all?

Turn off the proxy first and check whether your local network can open common websites. If the local network itself isn't working, fix that connection first. Then sign in to the panel to check your subscription status, update the client configuration, and test another route. Check for a specific error in the client and confirm that your system allows it to create network connections. Change one setting at a time and note the result to help identify the cause. Don't run multiple clients that take over network traffic at once. If the problem persists, gather details using the troubleshooting guide and submit a support ticket.

The client says it's connected, but websites won't load. What should I do?

A connected status usually means the client established a connection, but it doesn't guarantee that browser traffic is using the selected exit route. First, make sure the system proxy or the connection mode required by your client is enabled. Then check whether the browser has a separate proxy configured. Try different websites and routes to tell whether the issue affects one site or everything. If the error involves domain name resolution, check the DNS settings as directed by your client; don't add extra resolution rules at random. A full error message is more useful than a screenshot showing only a connected status.

Why does my browser work through the proxy but a particular app doesn't?

Apps handle network connections differently. Some don't use the system proxy, or your current routing rules may send them directly. Check the client's current mode and the rule for the app, then see whether the app has its own proxy settings. If the client offers other connection modes, test them by following the guide and your system's permission requirements. Restart the app after switching and compare the results. Don't assume every app should follow the browser's settings. For work software, also check whether its network requirements conflict with the proxy configuration.

Do I need to reinstall my client if a subscription update fails?

Reinstalling shouldn't be your first step. Make sure you can sign in to the panel and that your subscription is active. Then check that the import details you copied are complete, with no extra spaces or missing text. Determine whether the error is a failed network request or a configuration parsing issue. For a network error, check your current connection and connection mode. For a parsing error, confirm the import format is supported by your client. Keep the error message and existing settings so you don't lose useful clues. If the import method in the panel still doesn't work, submit a ticket with the client name, operating system, and update error.

My mobile device disconnects when the screen locks, or the connection drops frequently. What can I do?

First, distinguish interruptions caused by switching networks from those that happen when the app moves to the background. Test on the same network, then check the system's background activity, battery-saving, and network permissions for the client. If you need to change settings, adjust only those related to the client and follow the platform guide. If the connection also drops while the app is in the foreground, compare another route and local network, and note when it happens and any error messages. Don't assume background disconnections are caused by your plan. In your support ticket, describe whether the issue occurs when the screen locks, the network changes, or the app is in use.

Choosing a route

Speed & Routes

Your region, connection path, and destination service all affect performance. Route names help identify options; choose based on how they perform for your needs.

How many countries and routes does VPNYD cover, and how should I choose a region?

Coverage includes 90+ countries / 160+ routes. First check whether the service you're accessing requires a particular region, then compare the results on your current network. Hong Kong, the United States, Japan, Singapore, and Australia are examples; check the panel and subscription list for the routes currently available to you. A closer region isn't always faster, and the exit region isn't necessarily where the target website's service is based. Compare routes on the same website and device to understand the differences instead of choosing by name alone.

What do IEPL, relay, and direct routes mean?

These terms describe connection paths, not fixed speed tiers that work the same for everyone. IEPL refers to a dedicated connection path; a relay route forwards traffic through an intermediate node; a direct route connects straight to the exit. Your experience also depends on your local network, the destination website, and current network conditions. Check the nodes page for route types, then compare routes actually available in your subscription. A dedicated-route label doesn't guarantee that every app will work, and a one-time test isn't a long-term speed guarantee.

How can I troubleshoot slow connections during peak hours?

Pause large file transfers and other network-heavy tasks on your device, then check whether your local network is also slow. Keep the destination website and device the same while testing other routes one at a time. If needed, test on another local network. If only one website is slow, check that service's status too. If all websites are slow, focus on your connection and routes. Note when the slowdown occurs, the route name, and what happens—for example, video buffering or request timeouts. Once you find a route that works, monitor it; switching frequently makes the cause harder to identify.

How can I tell whether an issue with an AI tool or streaming service is caused by the route or my account?

Read the error message from the service and determine whether it points to a network timeout, a region restriction, or an account permission issue. For a timeout, compare another route. For a region or account message, check the service's own region, plan, and usage requirements. Connecting through VPNYD doesn't provide eligibility for a third-party account or guarantee the same access on every route. AI tool websites, desktop apps, and command-line tools may use different proxy settings, so check each separately. Streaming access depends on the actual result.

How should I compare routes, and why don't speed test results always reflect everyday use?

Keep the device, local network, destination service, and client mode consistent, then check how well pages load, videos play, or your actual task runs. Speed test sites may use a different network path from the app you're trying to use, so treat their results as a reference rather than a prediction for every app. Close other bandwidth-heavy tasks before testing and note the route name. If you need help from support, describe what you did and the error you saw; that is more useful than a speed test screenshot alone, especially if only one app is affected.

Order checks

Billing & Refunds

Use the user panel to verify prices, usage, and orders. Keep order details handy when asking for help; don't share sensitive account information publicly.

What do monthly plans cost, and when does data reset?

Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on your activation date. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated for the remaining days. Before choosing a plan, consider your main use cases and check the usage records in the panel rather than basing your choice only on the number of devices. Check your account panel for remaining data and reset dates; the client's connection status doesn't show billing details. Before upgrading, review the changes shown in the panel and decide whether to proceed.

How do data packs differ from monthly plans, and do data packs expire?

Data packs are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. They last until used and never expire. Monthly plan data resets each month on your activation date, while data packs suit users who prefer to manage usage as needed. Never expiring doesn't mean unlimited data; usage still draws from your selected pack. If you already have a subscription, check your current plan and available changes in the panel. Refer to your order and the panel for how different products are handled; don't assume they can be combined or transferred automatically.

Which payment methods are supported, and how can I confirm my order after paying?

WeChat Pay / Alipay / USDT are supported. After choosing a plan in the user panel, check the plan name, price, and payment method on the order, then follow the on-screen instructions to pay. When you return from the payment page, check the order and account overview for the status. A screenshot of an external payment alone doesn't confirm that your subscription is active. If the payment result and order status don't match, keep your order details and payment receipt and contact support through a ticket. Avoid repeating the payment. Hide unrelated account details before sharing a receipt; the order record confirms whether payment was received.

How long is the refund period, and where do I request a refund?

VPNYD offers a 14-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel and explain your request through the support ticket area, including the relevant order details for verification. See the Terms of Service for applicable terms. You don't need to share your password or full subscription link to discuss a refund, and don't post payment receipts in public forums. Keep the ticket record and add any requested details to the same ticket instead of submitting duplicates. Check the ticket and order for updates on the refund and next steps.

What information should I include in a support ticket when asking for troubleshooting help?

In a user panel ticket, include when the issue occurred, your device platform, client name, route name, local network type, target app, and the full error message. Then describe what you've already tried and the result of each step. For connection issues, you can attach screenshots of settings with sensitive details hidden. For billing issues, include the relevant order details. Don't share your password, full subscription link, or import QR code. If you can't sign in to the panel, check the Contact page for available instructions. For complex connection issues, consult the troubleshooting guide and gather the details before contacting support.
